ShopMicroprocessor, custom Rev limiter |
Microprocessor speed limiter package, with parameters and functions that can be changed on demand.
Principle:
- Interruption of the supply of the injectors by transistor when a speed defined by the potentiometer is reached.
The range of regime is customizable. Example photo: 5000 to 9000 rpm.
- control channel by grounding a warning lamp for approaching the cut-off speed. Example: 300 rpm; This deviation of regime is modifiable to order.
5-contact screw terminal block (from left to right in the photo):
- motor speed signal input (12 V with overvoltage protection, modifiable for 5V)
- limiter lamp activation by grounding (max. approx. 5A)
- mass
- contact power supply +12V (max. absolute 15 V)
- injector feed output (max. approx. 5A)
Installation, warning: housing not protected against reverse polarity (except microprocessor), nor overcurrent; Provide a protected circuit with adequate fuses.
- number of input signal pulses per engine revolution: usually 1 or 2.
- Free or progressive injection cut-off: activation injection every n / m engine revolutions (9/10, 8/10 etc.) on
a defined range (e.g. 300 rpm) before complete shutdown
- other possible developments on request: speed stabilizer etc.
- 8-bit ARM microprocessor at 16 MHz
- three MOSFET transistors, two of which are power; capacity approx. 20A, limited by connectivity to about 5A max.
Size:
Front: 78 x 38 mm; Total length: 96 mm
Thickness off button: 20mm Total thickness: 36 mm
